PDO Thread Lift

As we age our skin loses its firmness due to dwindling collagen and elastin production. The PDO facial thread lift will reduce the appearance of sagging skin as the threads pull the skin tighter giving your face a lift.

PDO Thread lift is a minimally invasive procedure that uses absorbable, barbed sutures to offer a more youthful appearance in the face. A PDO (polydioxanone) suture is used to lift and reposition subdermal tissue, the suture holds the skin in an elevated position giving your face and jowls a lift.

Recovery is minimal with maybe a little soreness, redness or swelling but most clients can return to work immediately. There is virtually no scarring, severe bruising, bleeding, or other complications.

Results are immediate and can last anywhere from 11 to 18 months. Over time the threads will slowly dissolve but the skin will continue to have collagen infusion. The procedure usually takes 45 min to perform with no recovery time needed.

While the thread lift can certainly produce visible change it is important to maintain realistic expectations for the procedure knowing it is not a face lift.
