What is the CO2 Vaginal Laser Treatment?

Feminine rejuvenation is a solution for patients experiencing vaginal atrophy, dryness or physiological stress such as pain with intercourse. A combination of Bella Donna CO2 Fractional laser and the Auto Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation (ALVR) handpiece delivers treatments to target vaginal atrophy and also delivers vaginal rejuvenation treatments.

This procedure uses a fully automated C02 laser vaginal unit. This state-of-the-art unit is used inter vaginally to resurfaces the mucus lined membrane of the vaginal vault. This causes a remodeling of the lining restoring mucus production significantly reducing dyspareunia (pain with sexual contact) vaginal itching and mild incontinence. This procedure takes about ten mins and has minimal down time. You may resume normal sexual activity in five to six days. Dr Ortiz recommends a series of three treatment done 4-6 weeks apart. 

After these treatments, women report significant improvement in vaginal burning, vaginal itching, vaginal dryness, dyspareunia (pain with sexual contact), and dysuria (pain with urination or incontinence).
